Pricey but worth it. As advertised 5 star service and food. Not totally sure about romance but it definitely says you have finance! If you know wines then this is also the place for you. It has a different vibe when there is a big event in town so be prepared to be patient and enjoy the people watching. If you come to indy or live here you have to hit this place at least once.

Great food, excellent service, and the famous shrimp cocktail! We prefer to eat in the basement rooms. Quiter and easier to enjoy conversation. Glen and Mark provide excellent table service with style and humor.

Was in this city on business and decided to give this place a go. Service from waiter was fenomenal. I requested for a med-rare ribeye but I received it very rare, could not finish even half way through my meal. I didn’t want to be one of those people to complain so just asked for a to-go box. I’ll remember not to order this steak here again on my next trip to Indy. Cocktails were delicious. I’ll give this place another chance in the near future.

Questions & Answers

You can just buy the cocktail sauce

Yes. Always has been. It's a full service steakhouse

Terrific! But not recommended if you don't like horseradish.

If you are expecting St. Elmo's to be like TGI Friday's, you should double-check the menu to make sure it is what you are expecting, because the two restaurants are nothing like each other. At St. Elmo's, they don't have a dress code, and you are welcome to wear jeans and a decent shirt. You will see people dressed up, but you will also see plenty of people in jeans.

Can't afford to drink there. Meals are perfection. $150. Plus tip if you drink water.

Most likely but not 100%

There's an online reservation option. I believe it's called Open Table. My wife and I visit for our 7 year anniversary and unfortunately, arrived late. They still got us in and even provided us a great table and card signed by their staff congratulating us. Overall it was a great experience. Food is pricey but well worth it. Service was too notch.

Yes. Just don't give them any cocktail sauce!

No you can just park for free in the public parking i hope this helped you

Depends.. ribeye better rare to medium. Prime rib still okay medium to med well.
